My name is Olivia Finkelstein! I'm an actor who also sings and dances. I grew up in Issaquah, Washington, and I graduated from Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences on Capitol Hill. Growing up, I trained everywhere I could – Village Theatre Kidstage, Redmond Academy of Theatre Arts, Icicle Creek Center for the Arts, Stagedoor Manor (NY), Broadway Theatre Project (FL), etc. Now, I'm earning my BFA in Acting from Illinois Wesleyan University, and I'll be graduating this May. I've taken classes such as Shakespeare, Advanced Scene Study, Acting for the Camera, Ballet, Modern Dance, and Videography. I've performed on the mainstage ("Airline Highway", "Appropriate", "The Wolves") as well as with the student-produced theater ("Dog Sees God", "The Blue Martini"), and I also love working as part of our sketch comedy troupe "Quickies!". Now, as I prepare to graduate and leave the comfort of my peers, professors, and campus, I'm excited to find my footing and continue my theatrical training outside of a traditional educational environment. I'm particularly excited to audition for Seattle theaters that I've attended religiously throughout my childhood and dreamed of the opportunity to participate with. I'm passionate about the ability to instill empathy through theatre. I am a person who feels very deeply, and I care a lot about the world. I want to use my voice and sense of self to portray characters in stories that need to be told. I'm looking forward to the end of February! Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for the opportunity! In addition to the details in my resume, I'd like to highlight that I am driven by collaboration and experimentation. Referred to as a director's actor, I excel in swiftly bringing characters to life on stage. With a talent for quick memorization, I thrive in the dynamic process of character creation.
I have a singing ability (though not formally trained) and have showcased this in two of my previous shows. As a fervent advocate for collaborative storytelling, I actively engage with directors, fellow actors, and the crew. I eagerly embrace challenges, contributing to a cohesive team dynamic.
I look forward to the possibility of collaborating, and bringing my passion for the craft and dedication to the collaborative art of storytelling to any project. Thank you once again for considering my potential contribution.

I’ve had a wonderful career doing semi -pro and volunteer musical theatre mostly, I started as an ingenue, but lately have enjoyed the more senior roles, playing Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, widow Paroo in Music Man, and Lady Capulet in R and J to name a few. I’d like to go back to my roots from University days when I had an opportunity to do dramatic and comedic roles in non musicals, and also interested in classical literature. That being said I’m open to all opportunities. I am also a piano accompanist and would like to be considered for opportunities there as well. Thank you for your time.

I am excited to continue my acting journey and display my talents to a broader audience. I began performing in community theatre in 2016 after studying at North Seattle (Community) College. During that time I have been blessed with a number of beautiful leading and supporting roles. I have also been involved in theatre leadership positions, having served as Board president for The Original Theatre Black Dog. Outside of stage work, I played the role of Doc Burgess in the second season of the wonderful fictional podcast, "Broken, Alaska":

In addition to acting, I am an accomplished photographer. I am proud to have photographed the mainstage performances for Book-It Rep during their final seasons. Work samples published in the Seattle Times are linked below.
I appreciate your time and consideration.

Post graduation and studying theatre for what seems like my whole life I have started to diversify my skills as an artist and branched off into film and modeling after getting scouted and working with my current agencies however I still thrive and find theatre my home where my creative self truly flourishes and get to explore my craft like no other. I really appreciate this time to be able to share pieces that I have collected from my journey of plays that I have either read or been a part of that speak volumes to my experiences as a human being and I hope if anything move you as they have me!
