Hi! I am so excited but I think there may have been a snafu with my appointment. I received a notice that said I hadn't signed up for a slot but I did previously submit and send a form. Maybe there was a technology issue on my end? Just wanted to make sure I successfully signed up and didn't get charged twice.

I've been doing theatre for a very short time, but in that time I discovered my love for theatre. Not just being on stage, but the whole production, working with others, and the community itself have always been things I adored. I love meeting and working with new people and having new experiences on stage. I can bring together the entire cast in a production, and I am flexible when it comes to stage direction.

I’ve had a wonderful career doing semi -pro and volunteer musical theatre mostly, I started as an ingenue, but lately have enjoyed the more senior roles, playing Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, widow Paroo in Music Man, and Lady Capulet in R and J to name a few. I’d like to go back to my roots from University days when I had an opportunity to do dramatic and comedic roles in non musicals, and also interested in classical literature. That being said I’m open to all opportunities. I am also a piano accompanist and would like to be considered for opportunities there as well. Thank you for your time.

I am a Seattle-based theatre artist with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from Western Washington University, where I studied both acting and playwriting. I aim to engage in art, both in my acting and my writing, from a stance of joy. It is a beautiful thing to get to capture the human experience – even the parts with profound sadness or anger – and something that so often people take for granted. Joy and curiosity are at the center of the human experience and it is this thought that I find propels me in my work. My most recent work has been with Taproot Theatre Company where I have been extremely fortunate to get my footing in Seattle's professional theatre scene. When I am not acting or writing I can most often be found cooking, making music, or playing D&D.

I'm David Elwyn! I'm an actor, stunt performer and Fight director here in Seattle!

You may have seen me last year in "Monstrous Regiment", the inaugural production of Latitude Theatre, where I'm now a core company member! I had the fortune of working with Greenstage, where I played Tybalt and was Assistant Fight Choreographer, as well as Centerstage Theatre's production of Emma where I played Mr. Elton.

While I am looking for more exciting productions and bold companies to work on and with, I'm also currently seeking representation by an Agency!
