Julia graduated from Ohio University in 2023 with a BFA in musical theatre and a Certificate of performing arts health and wellness. She constantly seeks the creative flow whether that involves performance, cooking up something spicy, and even coding (she is currently coding her website). She is passionate about animal rights and living an empathetic life towards all. Her favorite roles include Natasha in the first regional production of "The Great Comet" and a singer-of-high-notes in Sweeney Todd at The Utah Shakespeare Festival. Above all, she maintains an attitude that hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.

Thank you for the opportunity! In addition to the details in my resume, I'd like to highlight that I am driven by collaboration and experimentation. Referred to as a director's actor, I excel in swiftly bringing characters to life on stage. With a talent for quick memorization, I thrive in the dynamic process of character creation.
I have a singing ability (though not formally trained) and have showcased this in two of my previous shows. As a fervent advocate for collaborative storytelling, I actively engage with directors, fellow actors, and the crew. I eagerly embrace challenges, contributing to a cohesive team dynamic.
I look forward to the possibility of collaborating, and bringing my passion for the craft and dedication to the collaborative art of storytelling to any project. Thank you once again for considering my potential contribution.

I did some of my first performances in competitive figure skating as a young child. I fell in love with the performance aspects of the sport and began exploring the more creative side. I started choreographing my own programs, costumes, music and props. In my early teens I began to study and pursue acting and music. I got roles in three student films. One can be bought on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Walmart (Bridgeshurst Asylum for the Sane). The other two are on the way to being released. Being in front of the camera was a whole new level of creativity that I fell deeply in love with. It was so intriguing to me the idea of understanding a character's motives and emotions. I wanted to expand my knowledge of the stage, so last summer I did a small play in a local theater and an opera production with the Bellevue Opera. There is nothing as intimate as performing in front of a live audience. It was such a joy and honor. I want to get more experience and roles and broaden my skills as an actress.

I've always loved music ever since I can remember. I sang in my high school choir and my school's choral airs (elite choir). I began taking guitar lessons and fell in love with folk/country music. I really enjoy playing in front of an audience. People have told me I'm learning fast and really have something special. I have done many performances at school and open mics, and I am interested in finding more performance opportunities.
