I got into theater because of my two daughters. They auditioned for a production of Fiddler on the Roof out at the Kitsap Forest Theater. My wife and I were encouraged to audition as well. We made it a big family thing, all reading plays together and practicing our monologues and songs for each other. The kids got their parts, and somehow I got the part of Lazar Wolf, which was pretty good for a first show. It was a blast. The Forest Theater is a special place, so we kept doing shows out there as a family for many years. Over time, my wife and younger daughter lost interest in performing. My older daughter is still full-on, a BFA student at the University of Minnesota. You may get a video from her. As for me, acting opened up a part of myself that had never had expression before, a way of adventuring into all kinds of human existence. I have tried to get better at it. I wish I'd found it earlier. I've been lucky enough to do some great shows with better actors around Seattle. I took a couple of years off to spend as much time with my kids as possible before they left for college, but now that they are out, I'm eager to see how fart this will take me while I can still do it. I know there's a lot of parts I'm probably too old for, but I try to be fearless, flexible, and fierce as I go along. Thanks for listening.

Cameran Hebb is an actor and comedian who writes jokes and non-joke things. Cameran currently lives in Washington state after a decade of living in New York.
In NYC, she was a member of the acting residency The Bats at the Flea Theatre and performed at the Whitney Museum, as well as a six hour-long socially immersive Sophocles play, These Seven Sicknesses. She has performed at theaters around NYC from Ars Nova to Theatre Row. For three years, she was the lead in a play about a young woman’s struggle with breast cancer: Keepingabreast by Jackie Rosenfeld. The show debuted at the New York Fringe Festival and Cam was awarded a grant from the Queens Council of the Arts for the continuation of the show.
Cam was a lead in the dark-comedy indie film, “Me and Lizzie” alongside Rob Yang. She also wrote, produced, and starred in her short film titled, “Sexual Tension.”
A few years ago, Cam was engaged for 24 hours and then went through a fetal-position-on-kitchen-floor-crying-kind-of-break-up. Through depression or anxiety, or (let’s be honest) both, she found kinship in stand-up comedy. She won the New Talent Competition at Gotham Comedy Club, landing a TV spot on Gotham Comedy Live, as well as a residency at Broadway Comedy Club. She was a finalist for Ladies of Laughter competition and competed in the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition as well as the lots of festivals all over the place. At one point she created, hosted and produced a show in Manhattan at a large craft beer bar called, "Keg Stand-Up Comedy Hour."
Cam performed her solo character show to sold-out shows at HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival in Boston. Both of her solo character shows, Planet Woman and Disney Meets Honesty debuted at the People Improv Theatre’s SOLOCOM festival in NYC.
As a stand-up comedian, Cam has opened for Phoebe Robinson, Joe Pera, Aparna Nancherla, Nick Thune, Sklar Brothers, Carmen Christopher, Pete Lee, Zack Zimmerman, Nate Jackson, Langston Kerman and Gavin Matts.
Cam writes comedic parody songs and posts them on Youtube and Instagram under a platform called Just Jinglez.
Honestly, she just wants to create work that makes people feel like they are drinking boxes of some juicy life juice. She does hope to make people “LOL” but won’t ever text or say that acronym.
