While covid brought me home from New York City, it did not diminish my drive to become a professional actor. I have spent most of my life calling either Seattle or New York City 'home.' However, my family traveled extensively and always made sure I learned about other people and cultures. Having been adopted at the age of 3 from Romania, I feel very blessed to have landed in a family that made sure I could explore every interest I wanted and to keep going in the areas that I showed drive and talent for. My skills are wide and varied and my training is extensive. These things, coupled with my experience working in customer service have made me a team player as well as improved my ability to work alone.
I have attached letters of recommendation from my teachers for when I was looking at a master's program. Due to covid , I decided to hold off on doing my master's work until I had more practical acting experience to take into a program.

I would love to be allowed to change my bread shot photo after my photos are shot this week.

As an actor, I am often cast as comic relief, as I have a knack for physical comedy and good comic timing, with no fear of being silly.

As a singer, I am a powerful belter with a strong classical influence. I think it’s fair to say I have a ‘big voice.’ Singing is my first love, and how I made my way into theatre. I think I am versatile and can sing both modern rock/pop musicals as well as I can the classical/golden age styles. This lands me in ensembles a lot since no matter the show – I can add a lot of uumph to a chorus of voices!

As a participant in a cast, I am a good citizen and I always have a very positive, can-do attitude, with enthusiasm for whatever we’re doing. I am willing to help out whereever asked, and very cooperative.

###
Professionally, I have been in communications for 20 years, the first 15 years of my career spent in TV news. Since then I’ve worked in the public sector doing crisis communications, public relations, event planning and more. I also do freelance marketing for theatre entities, and am currently co-chair of the marketing team for Reboot Theatre Company in Seattle, WA.
