I’m coming back to professional acting after a long break and a move to Seattle! Raised in British Columbia, I began acting professionally at the age of 11. I spent the next 25 years appearing in dozens of Canadian and American film and television projects.
I am a graduate of New York’s Circle in the Square Theatre School, and I’ve appeared on stage in New York, Vancouver and Toronto. Stage credits include “The Hot L Baltimore”, “The Winter’s Tale”, “Shear Madness,” “Lawrence & Holloman,” “Hidden in this Picture,” and “The Wager.”
Thanks for considering me!

Sailor St. Claire is a curvaceous redhead with learned mind and an A+ anatomy. With her scintillating wit and charm, Sailor channels academic excellence into burlesque bravura as a performer and emcee. Since 2009, The Showgirl Scholar has been putting her knowledge of the literary canon to more-than-scholarly uses, crafting elegant and erudite stripteases that offer audiences an education in the humanitease.
This bookish beauty delights in using her full (and most colorful) vocabulary as an emcee, blending elegant erudition with utter nonsense, often in the same sentence. With poise, elegance, and Hepburn-esque wit, The Showgirl Scholar has kept audiences entertained and informed at the Oregon Burlesque Festival, the Pacific Northwest Burlesque Festival, the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, and on the grand stage of the Orleans Casino Showroom at the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s Movers, Shakers, & Innovators Showcase.
Most of the time, you’ll find her adapting classic works of literature for the burlesque stage as the co-Artistic Director of Noveltease Theatre, a literary burlesque company she co-founded with writer-choreographer Fosse Jack.

Hi there! I'm Gabi, and I graduated from the University of Washington in 2018 with a BA degree in Drama Performance. After that I spent a year in Princeton, New Jersey as the Artistic Engagement Apprentice at the McCarter Theatre Center. I loved being able to take the train into New York on weekends to see theatre of all kinds, and this made me realize how much I missed acting. Then (of course) the pandemic happened and that dream was put on hold. This year, I have recommitted to finding community through theatre in Seattle and reconnecting with my passion for acting. In my current day job I work at Fred Hutch Cancer Center training new medical schedulers which is work that I also care deeply about. Thank you for the opportunity to share with you what I've been working on!
