Notes for Auditioners, Technicians or Designers:
Fernan Rock (he/him/his) is an actor, singer, writer, and director, always looking to learn more about other actors, directors, writers, technicians, and all types of creative crew in the theatre community around the Puget Sound area, seeking collabs and innovative partnerships in projects for video and stage.
Fernan (aka Fernando Rocha or Nando) is also the Theater Manager of Juanita Performing Arts Center, a beautiful brand new theater with 420 seats in Kirkland, and it's recruiting lighting and sound technicians to apply and be part of the Theater Technician pool for four theaters in the Lake Washington School District.
For Technicians:
If you're interested in applying for the technician pool at LWSD, let's chat; please bring a printed copy of your resume or a brief description of your experience. Applicants must submit information on the LWSD website after a previous interview with me or one of the other three Theater Managers of our school district. The technician's pool needs to be filled right away. It is an immediate-hire job, but it depends on the demand of calls for different events and job functions (sound, lights, stage).
