Born on Manhattan and now living on Vashon Island, Cathy likes island life. Her acting career began in Pennsylvania with a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and five years at The People’s Light & Theatre Company; then to LA where she performed on stage, in film and television and produced plays, to Berkeley where her roles included Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine and Sister Aloysius in Doubt, and now Vashon Island as a member of Vashon Repertory Theatre, where she has appeared in War of the Worlds, Savage/Love and The Exonerated. Cathy loves her role as farmer and owner of Lavender Hill Farm and mother to four grown children and one adorable grandchild.
