Kristin has always wanted to teach, but at first dreamed of teaching dance. A lover of the stage and a captive audience, each day is a chance to tell a story. Every year Kristin thinks of three ways to complete the sentence, “I’m not the type of person who would ______,” and then tries to do those things. One thing she decided to do was audition for an outdoor production of “Star Wars: a New Hope in the Park” in 2018. Discovering she could have a stage presence, Kristin has performed for the past five seasons in Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, including the 2022 production of Humbug, a contemporary adaptation. Surprisingly, Kristin has no formal musical training other than church choirs and a brief middle school dabble at the violin. She has been a welcome addition to the Holy Trinity band, as her voice can carry the melody over the instruments and she can improvise harmonies.
