I want to do a song in my audition

I'm currently working on Sense and Sensibility at Village Theatre and am unable to attend any of the Thursday slots per our schedule.

Give the auditors more information about yourself.

I am a bicoastal (Seattle and NYC) actor, singer, and director. I grew up in Shoreline, WA and like to say the Seattle theatre scene raised me. I received by BFA in Musical Theatre from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in St. Louis in May of 2021 and have been working throughout the midwest for the last two years in plays and musicals. I have dance and stage combat training, and am a big fan of movement based storytelling. I am a professionally trained singer and a self-taught ukulele player. Though my undergraduate degree is in musical theatre, I have a fondness for language pieces, and have trained in Shakespeare and Chekov.

As a 1st generation Filipino-American, I have particular interest in telling stories that highlight the experience of the Asian diaspora. Conscious exploration of cultural stories and mindful diversifying of traditionally white narratives are also major focuses of my personal artistic philosophy. I am also very passionate about best practices with intimacy and am a certified intimacy captain through Intimacy Coordinators of Color, an organization that highlights cultural literacy when combined with choreographed intimacy.

I am very excited to be entering the professional Seattle theatre scene and hope to collaborate with you!
