Nonsinging audition

I am a full-time teacher, so I could not be at the audition site until 4pm at the earliest on any day. However, on the 27th, I could do the first morning slot.

I just recently turned 44 (though I can still play much younger), making it 30 years since I first acted on a professional stage in New Orleans. After getting bachelors and masters in theatre performance, and working in and around Portland as a professional actor, director, and stage manager for 6 years, I moved back home to New Orleans and taught theatre at the high school and college level for 5 years before moving to Washington. Since being in the Seattle area, I have acted and directed when I can, but my main career is in education. I have done a lot of Shakespeare in my time, and since I have been at various ranges of plump on a 5'7" frame, I have mostly played character roles, but I love to defy physical type and use the wealth of my diverse lived experience to tap into palpable truth whenever I can.
