My name is Chinelo Okpala, and I am from Brooklyn, New York. I am an artist of Nigerian and Jamaican descent. I am a second-year MFA actor in the Professional Actor Training Program at UW. I was a Presidential Scholar in the Arts for Acting at The George Washington University. My goal as an artist is to feel free enough to create without fear from a place of my purest impulse and to hold space for others to express themselves loudly and freely, Some of my credits include The Oresteia (University of Washington), Language of Angels (University of Washington), Father Comes Home from the Wars Part 1, 2, & 3 (University of Washington), The Saint Plays (University of Washington), Clybourne Park (George Washington University), Ruined (George Washington University), and Pippin (George Washington University).
