Sophia just recently moved to Seattle from Philadelphia in September. After growing up in Philadelphia in a Jewish-American family, Sophia graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a degree in Communication Arts. She recently completed the two-year Meisner training program at the Willam Esper Studio in NYC under David Newer and Deb Jackel. She also has worked privately for years with Kyle Dean Massey (Broadway’s Pippin, Wicked). Before moving to Seattle, she worked as a Family & Visitor Services Coordinator at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on the oncology unit maintaining personal relationships with and advocating for inpatient families while providing daily hospitality and logistical support.
Sophia is driven by her strong empathetic nature, her passion for storytelling and the craft, and for illuminating truthful human experiences and behavior. When not acting you can find Sophia being a Dog Mom to her pup Pippa or hosting Shabbat dinner which she would love to invite you to! Sophia looks forward to learning more about the Seattle Acting Community and is hoping to build connections and grow here!
