Newsha Farahani is a multidisciplinary artist based in Seattle, with a background in theatre and digital performance. In recent years she has acted in a number of online and live projects based in Seattle and New York City, including a multi-disciplinary act in WomXn Have Something To Say in New York's The Cell, and performing in Seda Iranian Theatre Ensemble's first live production, The Forgotten History of Mastaneh. When not acting, Newsha creates illustrations, produces StorySLAM shows at the Moth, dances bachata, and works as a project manager.
