Julia graduated from Ohio University in 2023 with a BFA in musical theatre and a Certificate of performing arts health and wellness. She constantly seeks the creative flow whether that involves performance, cooking up something spicy, and even coding (she is currently coding her website). She is passionate about animal rights and living an empathetic life towards all. Her favorite roles include Natasha in the first regional production of "The Great Comet" and a singer-of-high-notes in Sweeney Todd at The Utah Shakespeare Festival. Above all, she maintains an attitude that hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.

Hello! I am a Seattle based actor, singer and performer.
Back in my home state of Minnesota, I received performance training through Pinnacle Performing Arts, under the guidance of Jana Hirsch, and performed in shows with theaters in southern Minnesota. Growing up, I sang in honor choirs and all-state ensembles, and I have a rich background in classical music and choral performance. I lived in Colorado Springs for a short time and was able to work closely on projects with playwright Jon Marcantoni and performed as Eusebio in the world debut of his play, Puerto Rican Nocturne. In 2021, I was inspired to take a trip to Seattle, and instantly fell in love with the energy and pace of the city.
With a new found confidence rooted in gratitude and self exploration, Seattle quickly became the spark I needed to jump start my career as a performer. Through my job, I was the featured talent in marketing campaigns, and modeled for the cover of the company news letter. A dream came true when I had the chance to work with HBO Max and was cast as a background extra in Season 2 of The Sex Lives of College Girls. I am also a member of the Seattle Men's Chorus and was honored with the opportunity to be a featured soloist in their 2023 holiday show.

I am a Seattle actor interested in a variety of types of work from contemporary musical theatre to Shakespeare to children's theatre. I am especially interested in representing my gender non-conforming and neurodivergent identities onstage.

Since graduating from Interlochen arts academy’s musical theatre program I’ve had the privilege of working professionally in Chicago, Michigan, and Seattle. My greatest achievements in my craft have all centered around the fact that, for the most part, I am the first transgender woman to reimagine iconic roles on a professional level. These are opportunities for me to share with audiences a new perspective on just how authenticity within a role can truly come in any form. I hope to be a reminder to anyone who thought because they didn’t fit what they saw on broadway or tv that they would never work, that those days are behind us.

Vocal major, theater minor in college. Particularly interested in any musicals that require singer/instrumentalists. Currently an elementary music teacher who acts and sings on the side, but looking to go more part-time with teaching and shift more into professional music and theater. I have two residences – one in Olympia and one with my aunt and uncle in Shoreline, so available to be within 50 miles of Seattle.
